A wonderful, affordable teapot! January 21, 2009 Reviewer:  Deborah Bier "Deborah" Real Name (Concord, MA United States)  See all my reviews >

This teapot is big, beautifully glazed, and so, so affordable! Comparable quality teapots cost generally much more. There is a nice feature in that the lid has 2 flanges on the edge, keeping the thing from falling off when you pour the end of the pot... like all good teapots should!

Don't be surprised that the top is glazed in a single color and entirely matte -- it goes with, but it completely differently glazed, than the pot.

The glaze of the pot makes it look hand-glazed. Lovely!

Cracked After 6 Months October 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Discerning Shopper See all my reviews >

I thought this was a nice looking teapot, and I looked (a lot), but it ended up cracking at the bottom after only 6 months of normal usage. I don't know if it was flawed coming out of the factory or what... This time I'll be going with cast iron which I know will stand up.
